I wish for every child or inner child to get to plant a seed and watch it grow to seed, to see the world is abundance, scarcity is man made. 6 years living on a permaculture farm on orcas island growing all our food from seed and managing a nursery, I of course became enamored with seeds… each seed holds a connection to our ancestors and is potential for future generations. I have been teaching Seed Saving Classes for the last 3 years on Orcas island and This last year read Joseph’s books and it was as if all the missing links were right in front of me, all the those varieites I thought we lost, were just hidden in the genetic diversity surrounding us as we continued inbreeding our heirlooms in the name of genetic diversity, I am so excited for what me, my future community and all of you will breed in our lifetimes .
