Here’s one we made for a food type event. Too much info though- future versions simpler.

So excited to talk Handwritten zines with you all, I am so inspired by all the zine artists of the world who just want to share knowledge!!!
I helped make a Cushaw squash zine for Going to Seed, and I’m interested in making more possibly starting with an all-squash cultivation zine. I’m scheduled to be at a conference on September 5th so I may not be able to call it. I though I would post here in order to to be sure to make contact with you all.
The conference is coincidentally hosted by the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange, which provided funding for the community cushaw project. There is a printable version of the cushaw squash zine at Zine and other resources | Commonwealth Cushaw
The main website at https://cushawguide.handbarrow.org has more content than fit in the print version.
I made this one a while ago: Printable Compost Zine by June Jewell — June Jewell Fine & Digital Artist I’m now working on one for our local recycling committee. Would be happy to design some for this group with provided info.
Beautiful! I saw on your website that you’ve done a coloring book for compost, such a good idea! I’ve had requests for seed saving coloring books for use in elementary schools– would that be something you want to do?
I would absolutely be interested in something like that. Thank you for checking out the compost zine. The coloring book is much of the same except “geared” towards kids.

Right now I’ve got a book that I’ve written about 1/2 way illustrated & another I’d like to do next. I hope to complete both this coming year & will be more open to do something community driven again afterward. : )
